Bust A Move are posts focused on what Tyler and Megan are thinking and learning before, during and after their move to another country.
Let me make like a job interview, and tell you about my weaknesses.
I'm pretty reserved and calm when I'm at my most comfortable. While I can be eccentric, 99% of the time I'm a pretty stoic guy that just rolls with life's punches. Last second deadline on a Friday afternoon? Whatevs. Forgot something on my to-go order and I'm already home? It happens.
HOWEVER…the moment you put me behind the wheel of a car, after having spent 8 hours doing something that I had driven to go do, and you tell me that I've got to now drive BACK to where I started that morning AND…no matter what, it will ALWAYS take me twice as long to make that trip…I. LOSE. MY. CHILL.
I turn into this rage monster that feeds off the two red lights of the car in front of me. Among my tendencies:
Mind you, all this happens in about the first 5-minutes, after which I just zone out and feel helpless for the next 12 miles.
I am LITERALLY the worst person I can be when it comes to my commute. And while I understand there's a TON of traffic in SE Asia, hopefully I'll be able to stay away from experiencing it at 5pm on a Thursday.
You can read about all 5 reasons I'm glad I'm leaving here.
